We took Emily back for another appointment and to have her weighed again. She gained 6oz in 2 weeks. Dr. Rand says this is a good amount of gain, but he would still like to see her doing some catching up since she now weighs 10lbs 11oz. I'm just glad that she's gaining instead of losing. We're supposed to keep bringing her back for regular weighings until we're sure she's growing again. But for now, scare over!

That is good news. I hope Mikes b-day was super. Love you guys. Love Jen
"Each life that touches ours," even the little ones, is a miracle before our eyes. How fortunate and blessed are we that our Father in Heaven has entrusted us with the care and responsibility of His little ones, who are fragile and dependent upon us to "remember." You have followed the promptings of His Spirit, and our Emily, and all children in our care, are showing us how to "Become...". These angels teach us, though we ofttimes think the reverse is true; each a piece to a Gramd and Glorious puzzle which, when finished, will show a magnificent photo of our Heavenly Family; on each face will be the enlightened reflection of the Gracious and Ever Loving Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. What else is there?
Oh yeah Mike.... Happy Birthday! Belated anyways.
I started a gmail account, and I'm going to start replying on your and my cousins blogs instead of just looking.
Here's an idea about Emily. Since she's rolling over now and probably scootching around on the floor as well, that might be a reason for a weight dropoff. That's what Lincoln's pediatrician told me when he began crawling. He was very active as soon as he could move around, probably burning a LOT of calories. She's such a cutie. I'm sure she's just fine. It's good that she's such a happy girl.
Tell her and Hyrum hi from us.
